The creators of Allu Arjun’s crime-action drama unveiled a new poster along with a big reveal.

Allu Arjun blew the country off the ground in 2021 with his crime action series Pushpa-The Rise. The actor is making his return to the big screen with the sequel of the movie, titled Pushpa 2: The Rule. To announce upcoming trailers for the Sukumar-directed film, the producers unveiled a brand-new poster.

T-Series posted the Pushpa 2 update poster on its social media accounts. “Let the #PushpaMassJaathara begin (explosion emoji) The Most Awaited #Pushpa2 The Rule Teaser out on April 8th (love and fire emojis)” was the caption the company put on their post. He will arrive on August 15, 2024, with “double the fire” (fire emojis). The hashtag #Pushpa2 The Rule will be released worldwide.

The same was also reposted by Allu Arjun, who wrote, “April 8th, 2024: #Pushpa2 The Rule Teaser published!” David Warned, an Australian cricket player, observed, “Wow, super (three hand blessings emojis)” on the actor’s Instagram image. “Let the #PushpaMassJaathara begin. (fire emojis)” said a fan. “Mass jathara begins (blessings, fire and clap emojis),” commented another netizen.

For Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun, who is known for his flexibility, donned an intensely charming outfit. Many compare her to the goddess Kaali. However, as reported by ETimes, a source associated with the production claimed that his appearance was inspired by the Gangamma deity. In Tirupati, the deity is worshipped in May during jathara. It won’t be showed why the actor is wearing a disguise until the Sukumar film is released.

Two more posters picturing Allu Arjun’s hand and leg were released following the debut of his divine appearance. In the crime thriller, he is shown carrying both an anklet and nail paint. It is anticipated that Puhspa 2: The Rule’s upcoming teaser will provide viewers a glimpse of the same.

Pushpa 2 story and plot

In “Pushpa 2,” the main story point revolves around SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by Fahadh Faasil, seeking revenge on Pushpa, portrayed by Allu Arjun. It is revealed that Pushpa was shot by Shekhawat, resulting in serious injuries. Believing Pushpa to be dead, people express outrage over the police’s actions, leading to protests and a citywide curfew. However, it’s later discovered that Pushpa is still alive when a news clip airs, showing him covering his face and a tiger stepping back in his presence. This revelation sparks renewed interest and sets the stage for the continuation of Pushpa’s saga.

Rashmika Mandanna’s whopping fee for Pushpa 2

Rashmika Mandanna, who played Srivalli in “Pushpa 2,” reportedly increased her fee for the sequel. Initially speculated to be ₹2 crore, her fee was later reported to have been hiked to ₹3 crore for her role in the film, as confirmed by India Today.

Sukumar had already finished some of the sequel’s shooting. But he chose to reshoot those parts because of Pushpa’s immense popularity. According to India Today, the director even entertained the idea of completely rewriting the entire film.

There will be major roles for Fahadh Faasil, Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay Ghosh in the upcoming Telugu action-thriller “Pushpa 2: The Rule”. The movie, that is scheduled for release on August 15, 2024, is co-produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings.
