Elvish Yadav was arrested by the Noida Police on Sunday in connection with the snake venom case and sentenced to 14 days in judicial custody. YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT2 winner Elvish was arrested after being summoned by the police for additional interrogation related to the crime. Another clip circulating on social media appears to show the YouTuber’s arrest reveals with the cops.
Six persons, including YouTuber Elvish Yadav, were charged under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly providing snake venom at a party in Noida’s Sector 51 as part of Maneka Gandhi’s persons for Animals’ sting operation. The other five were arrested, and Elvish’s involvement in the rave party and importing snakes for such gatherings was investigated.
The forensic examination showed the use of cobra and krait snake venom in samples collected from the party.A tip about Elvish Yadav’s network of people involved in this led People for Animals to organize a sting operation to expose the mistreatment of rare animals. Elvish Yadav was questioned about the issue multiple times, but he denied all claims.
Nine snakes were discovered during the party, which was a sting operation by People For Animals, and their venom glands were removed. Out of the nine snakes, eight lacked teeth. The case of the rave party dates back to November 3, 2018, and the venue for the party was a banquet facility located in Noida Sector 51. Elvish wasn’t at the celebration.
